Friday evening's cold front that produced a few showers will push all of the moisture Southward for Saturday. This will keep Northern Illinois dry and seasonable for Saturday afternoon, with highs near 60°. Rain showers will be possible closer to the front well to our South.

The moisture surges back North Sunday morning, allowing for at least scattered showers to push through the area during the morning and early afternoon on Sunday. This will come with temperatures hugging the 50-degree mark, so it will not be an overly warm rain. We might get some dry hours later into the afternoon, but a chance for soaking showers, including some storms, will be possible late into Sunday evening.

If you have any outdoor Easter plans this weekend, Saturday is a much more favorable day with dry time and temperatures near 60°. Sunday will feature chances for showers starting around 8-9AM and lasting into the evening, with afternoon highs only reaching the low 50s.
