Mild temperatures and breezy conditions in the days to come

Yesterday was now the second day in a row that gave us mild conditions across the state line as we were able to reach into the 60's! Much of the same will be sticking around this week in terms of temperatures as we'll stay seasonable however things will feel a little cooler as breezy conditions will return through the beginning of the week.

Starting with today, we won't see nearly as much sunshine as yesterday, but we will still make it into the upper 60's! If we had some sunshine today, temperatures would most likely sore into the 70's however you can't complain about 60's in April! Moving through the day a few upper-level disturbances will move over us which may force a few showers/storms but at this time those chances remain very isolated.

Through the afternoon today, the combination of moisture and weak instability will provide the fuel for a few showers/thunderstorms, however the light to start it being the forcing in the atmosphere isn't the best today. That'll keep rain chances lower through the day as areas in southern Wisconsin will have the highest chances. Into the night a few showers will be possible still, our best chances won't arrive till tomorrow morning when a cold front moves through. Still even, along the cold front tomorrow morning shower chances will remain scattered to isolated so don't expect much rainfall over the next few days.

Tomorrow, we hang on to the chance of an isolated shower but the main thing with tomorrow will be the wind. As a low-pressure system approaches today and passes tomorrow, windy conditions will move in with it. Tomorrow will be the windiest day especially after the cold front moves through where some gusts may approach 40 mph tomorrow.
Windy conditions will last through the beginning of the week as this low-pressure system moves through the Midwest. Today will be the warmest day of the next three but as the low-pressure system moves east, the noticeable shift in winds will show that by Monday and Tuesday cooler/drier northerly wind will help cool temperatures down.
The good news is that temperatures don't look to drop too far through the beginning of the week as by Thursday we will already be back in the 60's. Temperatures will remain seasonable through this week, as we move into the later portions of the week though is when our showers chances begin to rise.
