Beyond our storm threat Thursday and Friday, our next storm system will swing in over the holiday weekend. This wave will be driven by this dip or trough in the jet stream that will pass directly overhead Sunday evening. Ahead of it will be an increase in clouds and rain potential.

Saturday will be dry with Friday's cold front well to our South. Temperatures will only make it back near 60° for afternoon highs, but we will see some sunshine. Saturday will be a favorable day for outdoor activities, including any egg hunts!

Sunday may not be quite so favorable for outdoor excursions. High temperatures will again reach the 50s but it will come with rain showers, particularly during the late afternoon and evening windows. Stay tuned for exact timing of when rain arrives, but at least scattered showers will be possible by the evening. May need the umbrellas and/or ponchos for any Sunday evening egg hunts!
