Air quality update: Improvements continue across northern Illinois

I'll tell ya, it's about time we see some green pop up on our air quality map! That means the Air Quality Index (AQI) has fallen below 50, meaning that the air quality is back to "good" levels. I do expect however levels to climb back to "moderate" levels this afternoon and for Friday. 

But thankfully, not to the extent of what we were dealing with earlier in the week.
