Weather remains comfortable for the first day of school

It's hard to believe today is the first day of school for Rockford Public Schools. Like yesterday, the day will start with a little bit of fog. 

 

 

 

Any fog should let up by mid-morning, leaving us dry and partly cloudy into the afternoon. With a southeast wind in place, afternoon highs will be a little warmer than Wednesday, peaking around 84. Not a bad start to the school year weather-wise!
