In
terms of the high heat and humidity, there was none over the weekend as
much of it remains trapped in the southwest U.S. This left afternoon
highs locally in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Though today will be
slightly warmer, humidity levels will remain rather comfortable as dew
points stay close to the 60° mark.
This will allow temperatures to climb into the mid to upper 80s Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with low 90s a possibility over the weekend. Along with the increase in heat and humidity comes an increase in rain and storm chances. Coverage remains isolated until late Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
