Breezy, cooler, and dry weekend ahead

It was a windy one today with peak gusts near/above 45 mph for most! And the majority of those winds were outside of thunderstorms. Winds will gradually ease through this evening but could still gust 30-35 mph through the night and into tomorrow. Wind advisory runs until 12AM.

As the wind direction gradually swings around to come from the West-Northwest, cooler air will swing in. This will bring high temperatures into the mid-60s Saturday under a mostly cloudy sky. Eventually sunshine comes out for the evening. Sunday will be a touch warmer with more sunshine, highs near 70°.

We will remain relatively quiet through the weekend, but early next week will bring an expansive and slow-moving low pressure system. This will support at least spotty rain chances beginning Monday, with highest coverage likely on Tuesday. With that low pressure primarily to our South, it will continue to feed cooler air our way. High temperatures may only reach the low to mid-60s Monday through Wednesday.
