The slow-moving shower activity from Friday evening will break apart into scattered showers tonight. Those likely will persist on and off at least through the night. Temperatures will end up in the low or mid-40s depending on how much clearing we see between showers. Rainfall we do see likely won't be nearly as heavy as it was earlier, with some spots only seeing drizzle or sprinkles at most.

Saturday will start on a cool and damp note, but we should see a few breaks in the clouds toward the afternoon and evening. Much of the moisture along our stalling low-pressure system will settle to the South of I-80 for Saturday, keeping us mostly dry around here. However, with a Northeasterly wind, it will be quite a bit cooler with highs only near 60°.

As the low pressure continues to spin and stall to the Southeast, another bit of moisture will slide our way Sunday afternoon and evening. This will bring another wave of showers during that time, with additional scattered waves of showers possible through Sunday evening and even into Monday. There will be many dry hours in between rounds of rain, particularly Saturday into Sunday morning. But scattered shower activity will remain possible Sunday afternoon into Monday. All told, additional rainfall may only amount to another quarter inch beyond what came down Friday afternoon and evening.

The weekend will be a bit of a cooler and gloomy one, with only small pockets of sunshine between waves of scattered showers. Temperatures will remain below average, only in the upper 50s Saturday, then low 60s Sunday into Monday.
