After a mostly dry and warm weekend, we will see moisture work back toward the Stateline into the middle of next week. The stalling low pressure system responsible for repeated showers along the gulf coast will gradually lift our way Monday night into Tuesday, bringing with it higher amounts of moisture and eventually rain chances.

The moisture will also result in higher dew points, providing more of a humid feel at the surface as we progress into next week. Dew points will likely near 60° by Tuesday, also increasing scattered shower and storm chances Tuesday onward.

Dew points near 60° will be paired with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s much of next week, well above average for this time of year. The later into the week you go, the higher humidity we might see, eventually leading to even a hot feel by the time we get to the middle of the week. Clouds and possible rain chances may hinder some of these potential highs, particularly Tuesday and Thursday, but it will remain warmer than average, nonetheless.
