It will be a breezy and hot weekend, especially for October standards. Afternoon high temperatures will be pushing into the upper 80s Friday and Saturday, aided be an increasing Southwesterly wind. Wind gusts will reach 20-25 mph Saturday, then near 30 mph Sunday. Meanwhile, dew points will be dropping day after day, eventually near 50° by Sunday afternoon.

These gusty winds paired with the heat and lack of humidity will allow for an elevated brush fire risk. The highest risk will be Sunday with strongest winds and lowest humidity. Be sure to avoid outdoor burning this weekend!
