Along with today's shower chance will come a bit of a breeze, first out of the southwest then turning to the northwest once the front is through. The strongest winds will be centered around the midday hours where winds could gust up to 25 mph. With the turn in wind occurring before peak-heating hours, afternoon highs will be limited to the upper 60s.
High pressure will quickly settle in overnight into the early stages of Saturday, resulting in a chilly start to the weekend. Overnight lows tonight will drop into the low 40s under a mostly clear sky. From there, expect dry conditions to persist through the weekend with highs climbing upper 60s/low 70s.
