Lack of rainfall and slightly above average temperatures continue into the week

Comfortable conditions will continue to stick around for at least another day as we'll be right back into the 70's today after reaching the 70-degree mark as our high yesterday. With a weak low-pressure system to our northwest today winds just above the surface will be a bit faster today at the surface so breezy conditions this afternoon will be possible. Into the night tonight and early tomorrow morning isolated showers will also be possible with little accumulation expected.

Into the beginning of the work week temperatures will remain slightly above average but will be decreasing by the day. By the time we reach Wednesday cooler northerly flow will be in place allowing temperatures to be closer to average while precipitation chances will remain limited.
Shifting our focus into next week then, a bit more active pattern in our upper-level jet stream will begin to set up sending multiple troughs and low-pressure systems through the United States next week. This may offer slightly inconsistent temperatures with this active pattern however slightly above average temperatures will still be likely into next week and beyond.
