An initially clear sky will allow for temperatures to fall quickly into the low 30s as a few spots already are in the mid-30s as of 6PM. Clouds will slowly build in after midnight, which will slow or halt the drop in temperatures, keeping most in the low 30s before temperatures start climbing early Monday morning.
The arrival of the clouds comes with a potential for some areas of fog Monday morning, especially West of I-39. Visibilities may drop under a mile for some, and localized dense fog may even be possible. A dense fog advisory has already been issued for parts of Iowa and Missouri, but no advisory yet for any Stateline counties as of late Sunday evening.
