Blustery but mostly dry Thanksgiving holiday

Temperatures are already beginning to drop Tuesday evening following the passage of a very strong cold front. This front brought a line of showers with it, but those are quickly shifting east as of 8:30pm. Winds have picked up right behind the front with a few gusts already nearing 30 mph, but those wind gusts should ease just a bit before picking back up after Midnight.

Temperatures will continue to fall through the night, settling right around 32 degrees Wednesday morning. This chill will also come with a very strong west wind that, at times, will gust as high as 45-50 mph. This is why a Wind Advisory will go into effect for the entire Stateline beginning early Wednesday morning. Afternoon temperatures won't move much and will sit right around 32 degrees, with a few spots potentially even dropping a little by late afternoon. Wind chills will stay in the upper teens.

By Thursday morning wind chill values will be down in the upper single digits to low teens, with afternoon chills right around 20 degrees. Temperatures will struggle to warm much above freezing, falling into the teens at night.

Bundle up if you're heading out anywhere Thanksgiving Day as a brisk northwest wind will continue to gust 30-35 mph. As high-pressure inches closer to the Stateline Thursday night we should begin to feel the winds ease up some, but the cold breeze will take us into Friday morning with highs still around 31 degrees.
