Temperatures to fall to seasonable levels following Saturday's cold front

Thursday's break from the gusty winds was nice. The cloud cover however held afternoon temperatures in the low 50s which in retrospect put a halt on this week's climb in temperatures.

High pressure drifting in should result in a lot more sun for our Friday. That, along with a light south to southwest wind will leave afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s. Compared to mid-November standards, this is about 18 degrees above-average.

Conditions remain dry overnight. However, we should see cloud cover gather up as we approach the midnight hour as our next cold front approaches. This will leave us mostly cloudy but also extremely mild for the start of our Saturday. Expect overnight lows to only fall into the low 50s. An isolated shower cannot be ruled out during the first half of our Saturday as the cold front passes through.

Despite tomorrow's frontal passage, we do see high temperatures climb into the upper 60s for one more day before the cooler air arrives.

By Sunday afternoon, temperatures will end up closer to seasonable, landing in the upper 40s.
